- Membership is free to Dutch researchers (working in the Netherlands or abroad) and to anyone else (irrespective of nationality) carrying out research in the neurosciences in the Netherlands.
- You receive regular Neurofederation E-mail Alerts with short announcements and news.
- You are a member of the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS) and the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO).
- You pay reduced fees for particular activities of the Neurofederation and the FENS as well as for participation in the American Neuroscience Meetings.
- You can announce local, national and international meetings, organized by you, in the agenda of the Neurofederation website, with a short announcement in the Neurofederation E-mail Alert.
- You can announce job vacancies in extended form on the jobs page of the Neurofederation website, with a short announcement in the Neurofederation E-mail Alert.
- You get a free subscription for the electronic version of the European Journal of Neuroscience (EJN-on-line) if you are a paying member of one of the member societies of the Neurofederation (see listing).
- You have a profit of up to 20% FENS discounts on the journals Current Opinion in Neurobiology, Experimental Neurology, Glia, Hippocampus, Human Brain Mapping, Journal of Neurobiology, Journal of Neuroscience Research, Learning & Memory, NeuroImage, Molecular & Cellular Neuroscience, Neurobiology of Disease and Trends in Neurosciences.
- You can use the Neurofederation website as host for internet information pages of a meeting organized by you with the URL address www.neurofederatie.nl/yourmeeting at very low costs.
- Your name and affiliation will be taken up in a database of Dutch neuroscientists, that is coupled to a search function on the Neurofederation website for names and affiliations of individual members and will regularly be loaded in a similar search page of FENS and IBRO.
